Welcome to the Halloween Hop!

by Pepper on October 24, 2014

Bones and BloodHey All!  It’s Halloween again, one of my favorite times of the year. When my boys were little, I used to make them Bones and Blood as a Halloween snack. It’s simple to do. Just get refrigerated breadstick dough, form them into bone shapes, bake, and dip into marinara sauce “blood”. I just checked online, and sure enough, there’s an official Pillsbury recipe here. Pillsbury wants you to sprinkle on parmesan cheese and basil, but I think they look more like real bones if you leave them plain. Have fun making these yummy snacks. They go over really big at children’s parties along with grape “eyeballs” and spaghetti “worms”.

So — I bet you’re here for the Beachwalk Halloween Blog Hop. Awesome! Thanks for stopping in. I’d love to gift a copy of either of my Beachwalk e-books to one lucky commentor. Just tell me your favorite Halloween treat in a comment below. I’ll do a random drawing first thing on Tuesday morning, October 28th. The winner may choose between Macy’s Awakening and Amber’s Fantasy,  from either Amazon or Barnes and Noble. (Comments must be approved, so yours won’t show up until I’ve read and okayed it.)

My wonderful publisher — Beachwalk Press — is also giving away two $25 gift cards to either B&N or Amazon. Your comment here will enter your name in that contest as well.

Don’t forget to check out all the other fabulous Beachwalk authors. Below are the links to their posts.  Have a safe and fun Halloween!

Those look really yummy. I’ve never made many Halloween snacks before, except the spiders with ritz crackers.

Hi Lacey. Thanks for stopping by today. I’m afraid I’m not familiar with the Ritz cracker spiders. Now you have to share. 🙂

Hey Sue, I love candy corn too. Now if they could just find a way to make it sugar-free. 🙂 Thanks for stopping in.

Looks spooky! “Boney fingers” would look good on that plate as well. 🙂
